2015 Praise God for His Blessings

2015 Accomplishments:

• Spiritual Focus: The Church is the backbone of all we do and now that the church is built in Kigali, we are praising God for His blessings.
• # of Bright Future School children sponsored = 189
• Contractors: Kathy Broman bookkeeper, Noelle Child Sponsor Coordinator.
• Paid for in Rwanda: Bookkeeper, Child Sponsor Coordinator, Executive Director.
• Donna Olsen (one of our dear team members) went to Heaven this year.
• IRS does not recognize the Administrator as an officer that can contact them so Gayle has taken the Secretary position from Sue McDonald who is also the Treasurer
• The Ambrose School sent another team of travelers to Rwanda. They took school supplies and bags for sponsored kids. They taught students, teachers and visited sponsored children’s homes.
• Completed church in Kigali.
• Sent money over to purchase sewing machines for the women’s program.
• Raised funds to purchase the land for the Secondary School in Kigali.
• Implemented our first pinochle tournament fundraisers.
• Shirley Silver took over the Newsletter creation.
• Contractors: Leslie Cortez took Trina Gorseth’s job as payroll coordinator and she is doing it as a grant to ABFM.
• ABFM set up a table at the Ambrose Grandparents Day and Leadercast.
