2011 Harmony and Teamwork

Our First Gala where we announced the change of our name to Africa Bright Future Ministries. Kelsey Hawes (with Pastor Patrick) helped with the design of the logo and flag.

2011 Accomplishments:

• Spiritual Focus: Harmony & Teamwork.
• # of Bright Future School children sponsored = 52
• Changed name to Africa Bright Future Ministries which originated from the Bright Future School in Nyagatare in Rwanda.
• Constructed a logo, brochures, and business cards.
• First Benefit to announce new name and display our new logo and flag.
• Implemented QuickBooks for managing ABFM books.
• ABFM participated in the Vineyard Church’s Mission’s Conference.
• Moved banking from Bank of America to Northwest Christian Credit Union.

• Huge Yard Sale Fundraiser at the Ustick Baptist Church Parking Lot.

• Evangelistic training in Kigali.
• Bright Future School project: plaster, cement floor and roof.
• First Spawn a Sponsor drive & Pampered Chef Fundraiser
• Northwest Nazarene University Team wrote a Strategic Business Plan for ABFM.


• Began a relationship with The Ambrose School to implement a School-to-school relationship with Bright Future School.
• The Ambrose School hosted a giving tree at Christmas to bless the BFS students.
• Started events team.
• Began raising funds for a women’s vocational training center to teach sewing as a trade.
